What does my soul want to tell me today?
The energy of fire is amazing. It can clear a whole plot of land or simply make your house smell good from a lit candle or smoldering incents. Fire is what keeps this planet warm and inhabitable. Fire can be destructive or it can be creative. The judgement is not made by fire but the observer of fire. Sometimes allowing things to burn is not a bad thing. Within the forest some need fire to reproduce. Some need the carbon to be returned to the soil. We as humans are so quick to judge if something is bad or good, that sometimes we miss the point.
What is it to be a caretaker? You are placed in a position of doing what is best of the ward within your care. However, how does one know what is best if they refuse to open their eyes and observe what is going on. What does working with the land look like to you? What does it look like to the land? Have you asked the land if it even wants to work with you? What did it say?
If we are more powerful than we are told then why is it so hard to believe? If humans are so hated by everyone… who is doing the hating besides other humans? Have you ever met a hateful rock or tree? Guarded, yes. Hateful, no. Is hate just a human emotion? Where does it originate? How can every spirit on Earth hate humans when they are not capable of hate? Maybe we are just told it is hate or is it a reflection of where we see ourselves. What happens if we change the lens we see ourselves through? Does that change how we are perceived?
