What does my soul want to tell me today?
The world is a beautiful play (place) to life in when you look at it through curious eyes. The power of a storm front, the magic of a spring snowfall, the beauty of a sunset. Nature is a passage of time when you live in sync with it. Instead of numbers on a clock you see bird friends returning or leaving for winter. You see new plant life or new leaves. Numbered time kept so strictly is a man-made construct however, nature also keeps time. Nature keeps time in seasons or when a night flower blooms. Nature keeps time with the blooming of spring flowers or the falling of leaves. When you pay attention to how nature keeps time you find hidden treasures. A nesting set of Eastern Phoebes returning year after year to share their summer with you. The return of the red-winged black bird and grackles. Meeting the mourning doves newest member in the garden. A feather a day on your daily walk. These are all experiences that other people miss out when they choose to live in time defined by numbers. Life is built on moments. You are the creator of those moments. How do you choose to spend these moments? What do you choose to spend your time doing? Are you fully present in everything you do? How can you be more present?
